New and hopefully improved library bag

Well I have changed the style of bag I am making for gifts as to be honest the other one with the draw string was just too hard for the kids to carry around. This one takes a little longer but I think it looks great. Basically I just changed the straps and also sewed a base into it.

I am not sure how this bag will be recieved. The parents are very much he is a boy and he will have boy things type people, so not sure how a bag with straps will go down. I just think they are so useful and the kids will get years of use out of them.

Looks good. And very masculine. I made my daughters bag with a strap as well and it was much easier. She just slung it over her shoulder.

Andrea, looks great. I agree the straps are much easier I wish I had done Charlottes like that too in hindsight

I too prefer bags with long straps. Look great Andrea.

I agree with the others too Andrea! I made my boys just the simple drawstring ones, but since made another one for my shop and went with the straps. Much easier for the kids to hold and even easier for us mum's to hold when they get tired too!!!
I love the fabric and think it looks very boyish!

Very cute Andrea! I have always done drawstring, but I think this way is better. I will try mine like this next time.
